The ASX-listed mineral explorer Coda Minerals (ASX:COD) has announced that the Company intends to carry on the exploration activities amid the six-day ‘Stay at Home’ Direction 2020 by the South Australian Government.
The six-day ‘Stay at Home’ Direction 2020 released by South Australian State Emergency Coordinator acts as a circuit breaker as SA Health conducts an exhaustive contact tracing and testing spree to contain a COVID-19 cluster.
However, the South Australian Department of Energy and Mines had advised that the exploration works at remote locations where the exploration crew is already deployed and staying away from the community can continue their work.
Coda is engaged in exploration works at its flagship project- Elizabeth Creek. The Company has drilled 3 holes and further drilling is planned on the ongoing campaign.
Chris Stevens, CEO Coda Minerals, said that the safety of the crew is the top priority and the crew was deployed at crucial time without getting impacted by travel restriction decisions by the Government.
CODA Minerals was trading at A$0.375 at 12:21 PM AEST on 20 November 2020, up 2.73% from the previous close.
