(Reuters) - Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd flagged an HK$6.40 billion ($817.19 million) to HK$7.0 billion loss for fiscal 2022 on Friday, but highlighted an upbeat outlook after the financial centre and mainland China lifted quarantine rules.

That compares to the average estimate of an HK$4.17 billion net loss for the 12 months ended Dec. 31, according to 14 analysts polled by Refinitiv, and a loss of HK$5.53 billion last year.
