Perpetual to Acquire US-based ESG Asset Manager

Perpetual Limited (ASX: PPT) to acquire the US-based ESG-focused investment manager – Trillium Asset Management.

It was reported that the purchase consideration of the transaction is USD 36 million along with earnout components.

The target company is an ESG-dedicated investment manager with a demonstrated history of investment performance across asset classes.

It is also one of the oldest responsible investing focused asset manager operating since 1982.

On 31 January 2020, PPT last traded at $42.7, up by 3.19 per cent.
