OZ Minerals’ Trading Halt and Speculation for West Musgrave project

West Musgrave copper nickel project is run by a JV in between OZ Minerals Limited (ASX: OZL) and Cassini Resources Limited (ASX: CZI). On 7 February 2020, OZL acknowledged the existence of a speculation regarding this project.

The Company states that the project is currently in the pre-feasibility study that is anticipated to be supported by the Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve Statement, neither of which are through yet.

OZL shall evaluate and approve the pre-feasibility study and consider the movement of the project to Feasibility stage.

Also, on 7 February 2020, ASX notified the market that there is a temporarily trading halt in the OZL’s securities till the next announcement.
