Independence Group NL (ASX: IGO) has reported preliminary metal production for the Tropicana and Nova operations for the December 2019 Quarter (2Q20) and for the 1HFY20.
- In the first half of the year, the company produced 15,236 tonnes of nickel, better than the 13,500 to 15,000 tonnes guided;
- Also, the company produced 6,779 tonnes of copper -ahead of the 5,500 to 6,250 it had forecast, and 561 tonnes of cobalt - ahead of the 425 to 475 it had predicted.
At AEST 01:10PM, the stock was trading at $7.020 per share, up by 8% from its previous close.
