The ACCC has appreciated the announcement made by Flight Centre Travel Group (ASX:FLT) with respect to not charging clients hundreds of dollars in cancellation fees as refund for travel which were cancelled because of COVID-19 epidemic.
Flight Centre would be returning thousands of clients who were charged $300 per person to get a return for a cancelled international flight & $50 for a domestic flight.
FLT’s decision came after the pressure from ACCC to improve its behavior of customers during COVID-19 travel bans.
FLT shares at AEST 12:10 PM were trading at $9.53, down 5.174%.
