China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) has reported the Manufacturing PMI for December 2019 at 50.0, slightly down against the market forecast of 50.1.

  • On the other hand, CFLP also reported the Non-Manufacturing PMI at 54.1 for the month, up against the market expectation of 53.1.
  • Purchasing Managers' Index of more than 50 indicates industry expansion while below 50 is an indication of economic contraction. This index is important for traders as it indicates the economic health and how businesses react to the market condition.
