Australian Bureau of Statistics has released the Producer Price Index for June 2020.
As per ABS, Final demand excluding export noted a fall of 1.2% during June 2020 quarter and a decrease of 0.4% over the last 12 months.
The largest drag on prices was child care services which dropped by 36.7% accompanied by a fall in petroleum refining and petroleum fuel manufacturing and other agriculture of 30.1% and 6.4% respectively.
Notably, Improvement was witnessed in other transport equipment of 3.6%, computer and electronic equipment of 3.1% and motor vehicle and motor vehicle part manufacturing of 1.2%.
