In a major development, Shree Minerals (ASX:SHH) has kicked off aircore drilling at its Dundas project.
As part of the drilling campaign, approximately 98 holes are planned to be drilled for around 5,000 to 6,000 metres for testing the lithium pegmatite potential and gold anomalies identified, in the southern portion of the tenement E63/2046.
The tenements of the company at Dundas are situated within the Dundas Nature Reserve. More tenement conditions are in force to gain access for normal exploration licences.

Heritage survey in progress at E63/2048
In March 2022, Shree Minerals had executed a heritage agreement with the Ngadju Native Title Aboriginal Corporation (NNTAC) and a cultural heritage survey was conducted by NNTAC members over the company’s exploration tenements in southern part of E63/2046 and E63/2048 in October. The heritage survey was concluded in E63/2046 within the scheduled time; however, it is still in progress at E63/2048.
The company is moving ahead on its exploration plans for in-fill of the historical 1km spaced soil sample traverses in E63/2048 with a powered auger to define and prioritise targets for rotary air blast and reverse circulation drilling.
Update related to exploration licences
It has been interpreted that exploration licences (E63/2046 & E63/2048) in the Albany Fraser Orogen (AFO) are along strike of the well-endowed Boulder Lefroy Fault Zone (BLFZ) and the Zuleika Shear (ZS).
According to the company, lithium-in-pegmatite deposits are spatially related to these mineralised structures to the north of Shree’s tenure. Pegmatites have been recorded from historical drill logs proximal to these structures within E63/2046. During mapping, historical drill hole spoils containing pegmatite chips have been identified.
Also, historical drilling intersections up to 3 g/t Au are open, and the associated soil geochemistry proposes the mineralisation is way more extensive than suggested by drilling.
SHH shares were trading at AU$0.009 per share in the early hours of 28 November 2022.
