ASX-listed multi-commodity company Aguia Resources Limited (ASX:AGR) today shared a significant development in the Public Civil Action (PCA) relating the environmental licensing for its Phosphate Project.
The trial court on 02 February 2023 held a conciliation hearing, where the court ordered the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office (FPPO) to present a final report in 20 days. FPPO’s technical team is preparing a report on the environmental aspects that the FPPO believes should be adjusted in the environmental licensing. Also, the court ordered the parties to hold discussions on settlement proposals as to the other two pleas advanced in the PCA (additional public hearings and consultation of potentially affected communities). The parties have been asked by the court to submit the outcome in 20 days.
