Vault Intelligence Limited (ASX: VLT) is a company from the Information Technology sector which provides, cloud-based and mobile EHS personalized solutions. VLT has announced its strategic partnership with Jurong Port (Singapore) for enhancing safety in the port. Vault Intelligence has inked a Memorandum of Understanding, with Jurong Port where VLT will be executing ‘Solo’, an environmental health and safety solution for increasing the functional efficiency, employee safety, security along with the welfare throughout the port.

Mr David Moylan, the CEO of the Vault, and Mr Desmond Lim, the Chief Commercial Officer, and Chairman of Technology Development Committee of Jurong Port signed the MoU. With a strength of more than 800 and above 30,000 registered port users, through this MoU, Jurong Port will leverage the Solo solution provided by the Vault. The solutions would address executing real-time monitoring abilities which will enable situational awareness and such. It will also be followed by the action to ensure safety, within the premises of the port.

The Vault will be undergoing trials, followed by the enhancement of products, and the deployment of its wearable solution which will be developed on the Samsung Galaxy Watch in association with Samsung. The important feature of Solo solution is its fall detection capability, which is integrated into an enterprise system on the watch, and is of great benefit to Jurong Port, when its staff members would be working at heights.

Mr Eugene Goh, who is the President of Samsung Electronics Singapore, is delighted to collaborate with the Vault. The Vault will be able to leverage the latest innovations of Samsung for setting the pace as well as create possibilities for Jurong Port. He also stated that over the years of evolution of the workplace, with safety being a key priority for various industries, the majority of organizations opt for technology to enhance operational efficiency.

Through the Solo Solution, both the companies would be coming close to each other, to fulfil the safety commitments, as well as the well-being of the staffs, and the users of the port.

The Vault, on the other hand, would be using digital technologies like IoT sensors, and machine learning to create ‘digital twins’ for the most critical asset of the customer. Solo, will be providing time-critical insights which will enable Jurong Port, to be more proactive towards monitoring, and managing the safety of the staff.

On 22 February 2019, in the operational update provided by the Vault Intelligence, it was highlighted that Vault was recognized in the Verdantix Green Quadrant, for its operational risk management which included the achievement of the highest global rating for integration with wearables.
